The Regiment Utility Jacket

I ordered this because my daughter has this jacket. They have clearly changed the material since she purchased hers. Her is lighter weight, softer and less chunky. The green is darker. Much prefer the earlier one. maybe she will trade!

I purchased the Infantry version of this jacket in 2018 but I made the mistake of drying it on high and so the jacket ended up blemished and discolored. I purchased the Regiment as a replacement but the differences are significant. First of all, the material is thicker/heavier. Personally this would work better as layering jacket for the fall rather than spring. The cut is oversized but stiff and not as flowy as the Infantry jacket. The sleeves are full length (unlike the 3/4 length with the Infantry version) which was hard to tell from the photo. Lastly, the green is more subdued - a true army green - versus the brighter green from the Infantry version. Overall it’s an OK update but I’m a little disappointed as I was hoping for a 1:1 replacement.
